This beautiful peel is handmade by The Baker's Board in Appleton, WI. It's made with Basswood for light weight productivity with a beveled edge for a sleek transition of your pizza from peel to oven and oven to peel. These peels are finish sanded to create comfortable handling.
After each use we recommend scraping debris with a plastic spatula, wiping with damp cloth, then air drying. Food-grade mineral oil should be applied often to keep the wood from drying out and assist in repelling moisture. The peel will arrive to you unfinished but we recommend maintaining it with mineral oil.
